    The GNOME developers are currently working out the Zeitgeist project to integrate it into gedit. With Zeitgeist, it is possible that most recently opened or edited documents to load. This is when the application starts or when opening a new tab displays an overview with a preview. Under Ubuntu Oneiric 11:10 you can watch the whole thing even without much effort.     A quick note for all who use Gmail and forgo a traditional e-mail client in the style of Thunderbird or Evolution.     Cyrano has pointed me in a comment to the interactive tutorial to a lecture by Vim Bram Moolenaar. Bram is the main developer and driving force behind the powerful editor. The lecture will be presented in detail in almost 1.5 hours Vim, it is true of 2007 and thus get a little dusty, but from THE people behind the program explains in detail Vim is certainly not wasted time.     Funny Yeah, Ubuntu is for me yet somehow, despite the success of the “newcomers” among Linux distributions. It is in my calendar that the distribution already celebrating its seventh birthday! I'm using it for quite some time, first under Fedora 15, Ubuntu Natty 11:04 then with the PPA and the team just now GNOME3 GNOME 3.2, Ubuntu installed out Oneiric 11:10.
