VideoBin: A pastebin for videos
Is currently a new screencast program called Kazam in development. The program has just been released in version 0.1, which shows where the journey could. The first release from Kazam but I find not so exciting, it just works too little. However, the developer is desperately from logo designers to programmers to gain, so that the application can move forward faster.I would be pleased because at recordMyDesktop, xvidcap and Co. has been going on for some time nothing more. The actual subject of the contribution should nevertheless be the “video pastebin” VideoBin to which you can upload from your browser Kazam or OGG / Theora videos. I think that could be VideoBin support forums for a great extension, since not every forum allows you to upload large files as attachments to messages, and not everyone has a cloud storage service like Dropbox or Ubuntu One at hand.

So I think the service for those seeking help quite clever. With gtk-recordmydesktop screencasts are created very quickly and thanks VideoBin can let host the video quickly and easily on the net. The link to the video can then be installed in the request for help in the forum.
The code to the backend of VideoBin is under the GPL, so you can then set up their own “video bins.” The whole is written in Python. Bugs and ideas can be discussed and reported on Launchpad.
