Shortly before Christmas celebrates the debianforum.de one of the oldest German Linux forums his birthday. Ten years ago, Sebastian has given the go-ahead for Debian Feltel Forum in its present form! In the meantime, more than 30,000 members have written to nearly 130,000 Topics to 850 000 posts. On that there are still many more!For me, the next Ubuntu Forum linuxforen.de as good as the first “virtual” point of contact for my questions about Linux. Although I seem to recall that prior to that I was in various newsgroups, but the forum was the first real Debian Linux home.

Like so many free open-source projects around the Forum relies on donations from the community. Currently the Forum has a buffer of around € 250 for hosting and own root server. Maybe yes, it creates one or two small donation as a birthday gift in the Säckl of the forum, I would be happy in any case, if the project did not last long.
