Worked really well the whole thing if you Chrome / Chromium and Shut Up extension uses. Then there is a small button in the menu bar, on the one comments on a domain in need of or can switch off.
The comments and all that belongs to are displayed not in fact, not only, but also only loaded when you can view the comments.

Marco Of rocking his promise has come true and the pre-installed with Ubuntu rockier Satchbook now brought in a 13-inch version on the market. The Satchbook to combine powerful, fully Ubuntu-compatible hardware in a high quality machine. The first copy I was unfortunately in my test of Satchbooks 15 not quite as happy, but the small model makes at first sight a great impression. Is the 13.3 inch display with 1366 x 768 pixels are available in a matte as well as a glossy variant, to come current Core i5 or i7 processors, minimum 4GB RAM, big hard drives, or SSDs, and just as pre-installed Ubuntu system.

View

Notebooks with 13.3-inch display, I personally think is the optimum size. The displays are large enough to work even longer times on the notebook screen can be and still is the unit compact enough times will also be taken on trips. The 5,200 mAh battery with a term to bring up to 8 hours, hence it is fit to travel, in fact, not only by weight.

Satchbook 13 starts at 849 €, the flagpole is a Core i7, a 600GB SD, 8GB RAM, and a matte display with crisp 2519 reached €. Then you get but also the crème de la crème of the hardware industry. Faster CPUs or more SSDs can hardly muster on the market.

My main criticism of the Satchbook 15 seems to be resolved in any case, the keyboard makes use of the images produced a significantly better impression. As far as power, volume, and the ergonomics of the Satchbook 13, I can not judge by the pictures her course. With the Satchbook 13 rockier but seems to have succeeded in any case a good coup.

The reason for the decision of Automattic, the company of WordPress founder Matt Mullenweg, additional scripts in the stats plugin was installed to transmit the data to the company Qantcast, which among other things, created personal profiles of web surfers. The blogger and Web developers Frank Goossens was therefore designed with DoNotTrack a WordPress addon that filters out the tracking code, so that again only the page views are counted. The plugin is now under a new name recently DoNotTrack WP and with new functions in the plugin directory of WordPress.

View

Until now you had to

The addon manually as. zip file and manually install because it was not plug-in directory of WordPress. With the revision of the plugin but that is history, it can now be quite as usual under the new name of extend.wordpress.org WP DoNotTrack download or install the plugin in the WordPress administration backend.

Who

The plugin still in use as DoNotTrack has, it must disable the uninstall / reinstall and then WP DoNotTrack from the plugin manager. Since this is a new plugin and for the purposes of the plugin directory is not an update, you will not be drawn to the novelty.

The new version can either turn off the tracking completely by Qantcast or the Do Not Track evaluate configuration of the browser and the web surfer's privacy notice accordingly.

Addition, there are two different modes of operation. The Black List scripts explicitly blocks certain sources, the whitelist can however specify which sources may not alter the DOM. Thus, one can specifically shut out those trackers, however, requires the maintenance of the whitelist more knowledge.

As technology utilizes audio tool “unfortunately” only Flash, but I doubt that you could put something in HTML5. Now comes the Android app just yet as an extension for Chrome so.

Android Audio Sketch tool costs as an introductory offer until the end of the year only 99 cents, then the price should rise again slightly.

I read every now and again questions why they should release the source code for a program or a game. What made sense because of the fruits of his labor would be to “give away”. The reasons for or against the releasing of the code may be very different, but I think it's good times reading directly from developers, which has since shown the release of their code eventually. What happened in the end? Was it worth it? The developers of Canabalt and Auquria have taken the “Step into Freedom” and report in detail about their experiences.

View

Blog of Semi Secret of the founders of indie labels Adam Saltsman writes about the background to the release of the code of Canabalt as open source. The engine and major components of the game have been released under the MIT license, while the graphics, music and other parts remained under a proprietary license. We may at any game developers use to create their own works, but it may not a clone of the game are sold.

I would not want to translate the whole post from Adam, but the main points I just want to have available here on the blog. What has brought the label to release the code? Adam writes that a lot of concerns, but after the release of some wonderful things have happened:

Other parts of the code developers use to access the engine of the game based on their own creations to the market. Thus, for example Connectrode Basie was on of Canabalt. The sales of the year Canabalt remained more or less stable. The release of the source code did not prevent the successful commercialization of the game.Even a few blatant clone could eventually be interpreted as a positive result. The clones could be quickly removed because of copyright violations and reporting cared about this event for additional sales.Because the source code of the game is easily accessible and well organized, commercial negotiations with bargaining games were much easier. If interested, you could dieVerkäufer point directly to the source code.Independent developers from the “homebrew scene” have taken the chance and the game ported to different platforms. There are now even a C64 version of the game [Note from me: In the end, the ports free publicity for the game.]In the same horn pushes

Also Alec Holowka of Infinite Ammo, which is behind the action adventure game Aquaria. He writes for the release of the source code by Aquaria ultimately about similar experiences. The release of the code would be a win-win-win scenario: You could still make money, other developers could benefit from and contribute code to the code a bit and sometimes start their own business.

Release the source code by Aquaria proved to be a really good idea. Numerous small bugs in the game could be dealt with immediately through the community. Similarly, changes have been introduced into the modding capabilities, making it easier to implement new functions was in the game.

Also start the community to port the game to other platforms. One of the independent developer was Andrew Church, who brought the game to the PSP. About him, I realized that it should be possible to port the game on iOS. Instead I have to find a developer could easily fall back to Andrew. It's just great working with people who love what they do. In addition, an interesting open-source platform to show their skills.

Ultimately, it all

Are nothing new, the motivation behind open source software can be read for years in the Wikipedia. OSS is not only an opportunity for projects to receive support from the community, but also just a terrific springboard into the world of software development. Still nice to hear again a clear conclusion PRO Open Source.

Like so many free open-source projects around the Forum relies on donations from the community. Currently the Forum has a buffer of around € 250 for hosting and own root server. Maybe yes, it creates one or two small donation as a birthday gift in the Säckl of the forum, I would be happy in any case, if the project did not last long.

Hence

: Happy Birthday and good luck for the future
!Christopher aka Chrissss

View is definitely succeeded once before pretty, and the performance has become much better in my eyes. Reading the latest posts and comments go vonstatten Ruck Zuck. Schick is that you call directly from within the app the camera or recorder, create a picture / video and verbloggen this may be the same. For “everyday bloggers” with short articles and many self-made images certainly a great thing.

For more information

With a presentation of the new features and screenshots of the HD version of “WordPress for Android” app gives the developers on android.wordpress.org. There is also a video that you could embed in theory and on a Web page that gives me as only an empty box, so I've uploaded the video on my YouTube account.

As much as it pleases me that Canonical does again with a reputable partner with a preinstalled Ubuntu computers on the market, but even though I like Linux machine on the market see a Linux netbook is in the times of fast and Tablets also quite affordable yet somehow anachronistic. With the 1499 border is not betrayed.

View

Image can be seen that an Ubuntu Oneiric 11:10 by Unity as the shell is used. Although Unity is strongly criticized in the Ubuntu community, I think it's good that a current system is used all too often there was only one Asbach-Ubuntu as an option, given the long lead times for computer manufacturers were far too long. How much fun Unity makes on an older computer, however, remains to be seen. From my experience with Lenovo S12 Oneiric with Unity is very useful, if not a rocket. [UPDATE: Sebastian has noted in the comments, that this is surely to Natty.]

However

Ubuntu riding a dead horse here, for example, Dell has stopped production of netbooks. Even otherwise, the demand for netbooks thanks to the compact yet powerful and ultra-Books and the Android tablet glut probably become manageable. Pity, but netbooks were probably only a small bonfire in the history of the portable computer.

Perhaps an alternative for those who are waiting for a Raspberry Pi. The SolidRun Cubox is running on the Marvell SoC 88AP510 system. Thanks to a ARMv7 CPU with up to 800MHz should be enough computing power available to play even HD videos without stuttering can. Delivered the Cubox date with a 2GB memory card on the large installed Ubuntu.A disk image with an optimized media center for Android is also in the works. The small box comes from Israel, however, come up to the 99 € price another 30 € customs and import taxes when shipping to Germany.

Display

Cubox is not just in my eyes for hobbyists uninteresting. Thanks to e-SATA, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI output and two USB ports can be done with the Cubox pretty much. To use the Cubox as a NAS or a media center, nothing stands in the way. Thanks to the integrated infrared receiver can control the box without any problems on the couch with a convenient infrared remote control. The case measures just 5.5 × 5.5 × 4.2 cm and weighs only a few grams

In a video demonstration of the manufacturers on the one hand the performance and low power consumption of the other Cubox. With less than 3 watts when playing a video streamed over the network is well suited as the Cubox cheaper servers. Hobbyists need have no fear Bricken the crate Cubox can be restored even without a working boot loader. More information is available on the homepage or this PDF with the specifications.

What does not fit is made to fit. Skype, the Linux version of its clients has always been treated so fairly neglected. Not that the annoying Windows version would be a hammer, the cup has fortunately passed to us Linux users, but the GUI of Skype for Linux could very well use a polish. Therefore, the community in the form of Nikita Tsukanov takes the matter into their own hands and brings out a Skypewrapper called SkypeTab, reduced to one of the Skype window and also provides tabs for chats.

View

The last version of Skype for Linux is now almost back now a year old, so that Skype is actually quite faithful to his schedule. gabs So far almost always one version per year

Until the next version so you can put off with SkypeTab. SkypeTab Skype is not a replacement, still needs you the “original”, the program is just a wrapper for the Skype for Linux breathes some new life.

Thus, the chats

Be integrated into the application window. If you open multiple chats, they will be organized in tabs. Such a thing exists in people who chat a bit much clutter on the desktop. However, open discussions are unfortunately still in a separate window.

SkypeTab can install Ubuntu from the source package of the developer. Arch in the thing's already contained in the AUR. Owners of other Linux distributions probably have to compile SkypeTab himself, gives up the reference to GitHub page of the project.

$ Sudo apt-add-repository ppa: keks9n/skypetab$ Sudo apt-get update & & sudo apt-get install skypetab-ng

After installing it in the application menu next to the entry for Skype itself also can start with your SkypeTab. Longer exists then to actually say no more, except to hope that FINALLY brings out SkypeKit as promised and released the source code of the GUI. Since that announcement two years have passed …
